Sei que é um assunto espinhoso. Gostaria de propor uma
pequena reflexão e futurologia. Algo como teoria dos jogos em relação ao que
fazer com os “isentões”.
Estou mais que convencido que os isentões estão criticando,
injustamente, até mais que a canhotada. Porém, não sei ainda se a melhor forma
de combatê-los seria os ataques intensos que fazemos, semelhantes aos que
fazemos com nossos verdadeiros inimigos - os esquerdistas. E sim, estou usando
o termo inimigo de propósito, ao invés de adversário, pois não me resta dúvida
sobre o mal que esta ideologia faz para a sociedade. Também seus integrantes
bem articulados e sem qualquer escrúpulo em defender abertamente a corrupção
que, por sua vez, é diretamente responsável por inúmeras mortes por falta de
verbas públicas e ineficiência do estado em atender os menos favorecidos. E,
ainda, conseguem coordenar uma comunicação intensa, com o auxílio de seus
braços em diferentes áreas - imprensa e judiciário, que amenizam o estrago na
sua imagem, quando não conseguem livrar completamente a responsabilidade pela
retórica absorvida pelos mais despreparados intelectualmente.
Depois do que eles fizeram com o país, seria para nunca mais
conseguirem sair de casa com a cara limpa. Mesmo assim, muitos foram reeleitos,
para vocês sentirem a eficácia do trabalho de comunicação baseado em fundamentos
de Antonio Gramsci. Os nossos inimigos primários merecem todo ataque possível
para não deixar espaços para proliferarem suas narrativas ou, simplesmente,
mentiras.
Voltando aos isentões. Não sei se devem ser combatidos com
toda a força que os esquerdistas merecem e vou explicar o porquê. Como o
velhinho fala: “Senso de proporcionalidade, pourrra”. A minha concepção de
isentão envolve uma característica positiva. Na essência, eles são, de certa
forma, íntegros no julgamento. Tendem a analisar tudo que está sendo realizado
pelo governo friamente. Esta característica irrita muito os bolsonatistas, pois
não levam em consideração todo o contexto de como as coisas se davam antes, as
circunstâncias da campanha e as péssimas alternativas viáveis que estavam à
disposição da sociedade.
Acredito que esta falta de levar o contexto em consideração
antes de expor suas criticas, seja o fator que mais nos irrita. E com total
compreensão, na minha avaliação. Pois estávamos à beira do precipício.
Porém, o que temos que pensar é o seguinte: justamente por
serem isentões, são um pouco mais fluídos no voto e apoio eleitoral.
Convenhamos: a esta altura do campeonato, dificilmente veremos esquerdistas
migrando de espectro ideológico por conta de bom desempenho na economia,
baseado em fatos, números e índices. Cá pra nós - números nunca foram o forte
dessa gente.
E não nos deixemos nos enganar. Essa canhotada cega ainda
possui uma quantidade de gente suficiente para bagunçar uma eleição decente.
Sendo assim, proponho pensarmos em uma nova forma de
confrontar os isentões. Com menos agressividade. Porém, incisivamente, pois não
podemos deixar narrativas serem propagadas sem contestação. Temos que ter o pé
no chão e saber que vamos precisar deles nas próximas eleições para garantir a
continuação da reversão do estrago que foi feito. E sabemos que na hora certa,
eles acabam vindo para o lado certo. Mas se exagerarmos na dose do combate,
pode ter um efeito repelente irrecuperável. Além disso, devemos pensar em
gastar a energia para minar nosso verdadeiro inimigo, que está se recompondo e
se fortalecendo, já que sobreviveram às últimas eleições. Nosso objetivo deve
ser terminar de knockoutear o inimigo, para que não tenha nenhuma chance de
comandar o país novamente, durante um bom tempo.
Talvez, uma das estratégias possa ser dar menos visibilidade
para esse pessoal. Ignorar um pouco. Tratar como café com leite, ou algo
parecido. Torná-los radioativo. Assim, podemos avaliar também qual a quantidade
aproximada de público concorda com eles. Vão perceber que não têm tanto apoio
como imaginam.
Somente no Brasil seria possível vislumbrar uma aliança deste tipo. Tenho certeza que muitos ateus possuem o mesmo pensamento que vou tentar detalhar agora.
Desde as manifestações de 2013, o país está passando por grandes transformações e amadurecimento ideológico. Apesar da tão citada polarização, muitos enxergam de forma negativa. Especialmente quando pensarmos que antes não havia polarização por causa de um pensamento hegemônico. A meu ver, falta do contraditório não faz bem a nenhuma sociedade minimamente saudável.
A tal da polarização vem ajudando determinados segmentos da sociedade refletir sobre alguns posicionamentos que vinham de encontro com determinados conceitos inaceitáveis. De pouco a pouco, fomos obrigados a chegar nos extremos das argumentações para começar a expor algumas realidades.
Peguemos o caso dos evangélicos e católicos. Até pouco tempo, estavam 100% fechados com a esquerda. Mesmo que, tradicionalmente, a ala progressista sempre defendesse o aborto e o ateísmo explicitamente. Foi necessária uma campanha presidencial pesada, e uma das mais baixas que existiu no Brasil, para os religiosos se darem conta de que não fazia o menor sentido apoiar qualquer candidato que fosse diretamente contrário a uma das bandeiras mais importantes dos cristãos – “pro life”. E ainda tivemos que testemunhar ateus indo à missa de domingo para ganhar voto. Uma das maiores vergonhas alheias que eu, como ateu, senti em toda minha vida. Um misto de sentimento de constrangimento com revolta, já que ser ateu, na essência, é ter coragem de encarar a realidade. Que estaria, indiretamente, associado à honestidade intelectual.
Mas onde quero chegar com isso? Está na hora de encararmos alguns fatos duros, porém reais e deixarmos alguns preconceitos ou divergências históricas de lado e tentar combater uma ideologia que apresenta estruturação religiosa, porém extremista – o socialismo / comunismo.
Apesar de o ateísmo ser bem relacionado à esquerda, temos o dever de não ser cooptado por nenhuma doutrina de pensamento uniforme. Além de ponderar algumas questões chave que, nos últimos tempos, tenho refletido bastante.
Como todo ateu, especialmente durante o início da libertação religiosa, adorava bater em religiões. De todos os tipos e de todas as formas. Eis que comecei a avaliar os reais danos diretos causados por religiões. Comecei a perceber que não eram tão diferentes assim como em diversos segmentos sociais. Especialmente se compararmos com movimentos esquerdistas. Mas calma, ainda vou chegar lá.
Claro que sabemos que guerras religiosas mataram muitas pessoas. Exemplos clássicos incluem as cruzadas e a inquisição. Certamente, com a disseminação intensa da informação e o avanço da média intelectual da humanidade, que ajuda a aumentar o nível de tolerância entre diferentes crenças e pensamentos, não vamos passar por outro período inquisitório, por mais forte que as igrejas se tornem.
Conforme vamos envelhecendo, acumulando informações e a história vai sendo revisionada, acabei percebendo também que as cruzadas foram uma reação à expansão violenta do islam, que por causa do ar revolucionário desta religião, é poupada de criticas por parte da esquerda, quando não absorve sua causa e métodos, por completo. De qualquer forma, este pensamento vai lado a lado com uma das principais linhas de pensamento de um grande militante do ateísmo, que respeito bastante - Sam Harris:
Sam Harris é Judeu e praticamente um discípulo do meu ideólogo favorito - Christopher Hitchens. Este, dispensa apresentações, e mais a frente falo um pouco sobre esta relação.
Voltando ao Sam Harris. Imagine como deve ser difícil para um judeu, ateu, acadêmico, intelectual, falar mal do islam. Pois é - tem sido a árdua tarefa dele, nos últimos tempos. Bater de frente com a doutrina do politicamente correto. E como um grande pensador, acaba reavaliando alguns conceitos de fluxo de pensamentos.
Recentemente, ele tem defendido, por assim dizer, algumas religiões judaico-cristãs. E comecei a avaliar números frios por conta das pesquisas que ele acaba citado para embasar muitos posicionamentos. Como esta questão das cruzadas e de outras estatísticas como percentual de radicais extremados em cada religião, e claro que o islam ganha em disparado.
Bom, vamos em frente. Não sei dizer se ele é de direita, centro ou esquerda. Parece-me um libertário. Ou um isentão. Porém, volta e meia, o vejo fazendo alguns comentários ponderados sobre o Trump. Algo inaceitável no meio “intelectual” ou acadêmico, mesmo que faça todas as ressalvas possíveis. Além disso, percebo que ele evidencia alguns fatos inquestionáveis sobre socialismo e comunismo, como número de mortes causada pelo movimento, contradições entre discursos e ações, e demais questões.
A esta altura, já me sinto confortável em propor tal aliança. Ainda mais quando lembrarmos da posicionamento político do símbolo do ateísmo militante contemporâneo - Christopher Hitchens.
Comentei que iríamos falar mais dele, a frente. Chegou o momento. Como a maioria de vocês, eu também era bem simpático à ideologia da esquerda quando mais novo e, principalmente, em função da hegemonia de pensamento. Talvez, por causa disso, eu tenha bloqueado da minha mente ou dado menor importância para o fato do Hitchens ser de direita. Afinal, o rapaz era tão brilhante que eu fazia vista grossa dele não pertencer ao mesmo espectro político que eu, naquele momento. Antes de eu passar pela transição turbulenta.
Mas, agora que as questões ideológicas estão se acomodando, posso pensar mais sobre este detalhe curioso do Hitchens ser convictamente de direita e sentir um certo alívio. Eu lembro que via algumas de suas declarações sobre posicionamento em relação a armas e ficava decepcionado e incrédulo. Pensava: como uma pessoa de pensamento sofisticado poderia se convencer desses absurdos.
Mas eu não sabia que eu me encontrava numa espécie de transe coletivo ideológico.
Mal sabia eu que fazia parte de uma segunda libertação e amadurecimento de idéias e conceitos, que ele também deve ter realizado e ponderado os fatos racionalmente, para formar sua convicção. Convenhamos, ele tem muito conhecimento para avaliar dados objetivos. Não é porque você é convicto de algum posicionamento que você é radical, como alguns isentões imaginam.
É neste sentido que acho esta ideológica extremamente perigosa e com estrutura de funcionamento semelhante a de algumas religiões. Virou crença. Pois não conseguimos mostrar a realidade com fatos ou números. Mesmo que convertam para seus objetivos. Surreal.
Outra pessoa que me fez refletir bastante sobre o papel das religiões, e especialmente o catolicismo, foi um youtuber, de pouca popularidade, chamado Conde Louppeux. Também fornece muitos dados históricos e estatísticos sobre as igrejas católicas. É um militante intenso. Mas reconheço seu alto nível de conhecimento. Apesar de expressar muitas falsas percepções sobre ateus, que dá vontade de responder. Só não faço por extrema falta de tempo.
Nesta linha, praticando a tolerância de divergência de pensamento religioso é que proponho uma aliança Ateu-Cristã, para combater a ideologia / doutrina que tem um potencial muito grande de cooptação dos jovens e um poder de destruição devastador. Ainda mais em países subdesenvolvidos que não possuem uma média educacional/cultural alta para lidar com o poder que um estado totalitário adquire, invariavelmente.
Chegou a hora de unir forças. Coesão religiosa proporcionada pelos cristãos e pragmatismo ateísta para eliminar problemas e ameaças subversivas à democracia.
Confesso que, depois das eleições sofridas de 2018, achei que tudo tinha se resolvido e o Brasil, com a nova forma de governar, iria caminhar de forma serena. Talvez com alguns obstáculos, mas nada comparado ao que estamos vendo hoje.
As eleições de 2018 foram apenas uma de muitas batalhas que travamos. Vamos relembrar:
- Achávamos que as manifestações de 2013 não dariam em nada – deu;
- Achávamos que a lava jato não daria em nada – deu;
- Achávamos que os diretores da Petrobrás nunca seriam presos – foram;
- Achávamos que os poderosos das empreiteiras não seriam presos – foram;
- Achávamos que a Dilma não cairia – caiu;
- Achávamos que Cabral não seria preso – foi;
- Achávamos que Eduardo Cunha não seria preso – foi;
- Achávamos que Lula não seria preso – foi;
- Achávamos que Pezão não seria preso – foi;
- Achávamos que Temer não seria preso – foi;
- Achávamos que Renan não poderia ser substituído – foi;
- Achávamos que não seria possível quebrar o sistema eleitoral bilionário junto com todo o establishment jornalístico, que já estava apoiando descaradamente o partido que mais roubou nos últimos tempos – foi possível – e sem dinheiro;
Repare quantas batalhas ganhamos. Passamos por muitos momentos difíceis, inclusive por crises financeiras pesadas para chegarmos até aqui. Tivemos avanços significativos. Não foi fácil e especialmente para os que têm menos recursos. Estamos diante um momento único em nossa história recente para conseguir fazer o país avançar sem a velha prática política, que nada mais é que corrupção institucionalizada e impune.
Porém, para prosseguirmos, teremos que nos unir. Nem digo esquerda com direita porque eu, sinceramente, acho um caso perdido. Não há como convencê-los de nada que não seja o extremo contrário de tudo que seja sugerido ou pautado pela direita ou centro.
Estou me referindo às pessoas que não votaram no Haddad. Aquelas que votaram em branco ou fizeram o voto útil no Bolsonaro, pois a escolha era ridiculamente fácil. Eu mesmo, digo que não era a minha escolha no primeiro turno. Mas diante das circunstâncias, fiz o voto útil logo no primeiro turno.
Enfim, tudo isso para dizer que esta legislatura não é uma convencional – do tipo: não deu certo, vou tentar votar melhor na próxima. Não. Esta legislatura representa uma revolução – de verdade – mas pacífica. Tem que dar certo. Temos que fazer dar certo!
Não podemos apenas assistir passivamente. Acredito que temos que participar ativamente. Não precisa ir para a rua. Se puder ir, melhor! Mas digo no combate à informações manipuladas. Tivemos uma pequena amostra do que está por vir. Quanto mais secar a fonte financeira dos inimigos da pátria, mais desesperados vão ficar a ponto de fazer qualquer coisa – como vimos um pouco nas eleições – episódios lamentáveis.
Caso não tenha uma conta no Twitter, abra! Algumas batalhas estão sendo travadas nesta ferramenta. Tornou-se a nova praça da cidade com uma pequena diferença – nacional. Acredite: sua voz será ouvida neste espaço. Digo mais – está incomodando a velha política. Pois não conseguem lidar com isso da forma que faziam antes. Resolvia com dinheiro e pronto. Nestes novos tempos, não. Não dá para corromper 5 milhões de cidadão antenados. E não tem dinheiro e expertise suficiente para montar um grupo de embate fabricado.
Precisamos fazer parte deste processo revolucionário. Infelizmente, não tem outro jeito. Estou vendo muita gente que votou sem convicção no Bolsonaro desanimada e praticamente jogando a toalha. Mas isso é o que a velha política quer. Voltar tudo como era antes. Alerta: se conseguirem, vêm com mais força ainda com a certeza de que conseguem nos fazer de otário a qualquer momento, sempre.
Chegou a hora de deixar a passividade de lado e encarar os embates. Seja no Twitter, seja no whatsApp, seja no Facebook. Sem se preocupar se vai perder amigos no processo. O que está em jogo é muito maior. Você pode fazer parte disso. Nem que seja apenas para subir uma “hashtag” ou cobrar algum posicionamento no perfil dos políticos que sabemos que estejam se comportando de forma não republicana. Além, claro, de desmentir versões que são propagadas incansavelmente. A esquerda tenta repetir a versão exaustivamente até “colar”. Vamos ser mais resistentes e chatos e repetir os fatos reais todas as vezes que tentarem impor uma versão.
Enfim, não tem outro jeito. Ou nos mobilizamos pra valer, com a perspectiva que será uma guerra longa, com várias batalhas, ou nos rendemos a estes verdadeiros parasitas da sociedade e continuemos a trabalhar 5 meses para sustentar seus luxos, ao sabor de lagostas, enquanto riem da nossa cara.
O mais difícil, já conseguimos, que foi tomar de volta o comando central. Agora, temos que impedir que o “deep state brazil” sabote o governo eleito legitimamente, com ações para sobrevivência. Eu acredito que conseguimos progredir, e você?
Hey Kyle, how are ya? I’ve been following your shows for a while now, and respect your honesty/opinions, especially when you realize some inconsistencies on some leftist positioning about some issues. That’s why I’m taking the time to try to give you some counter information about the interview you made with Glenn Greenwald.
Just so you know, I’m just an average Brazilian, who’s also suffering with the severe crises we went through over the recent years, but I’ll get to that in detail. Excuse my English in the course of this post. Also, my political spectrum used to be to the left as most of the middle class population here. But it changed a bit over the years and now I consider myself closer to a libertarian.
Before laying out the details of what Glenn Greenwald talked about with you, It’s important for people to know that he’s partner is a city councilor/assemblyman, if I’m not mistaken, and through a party called PSOL, which was constituted by PT’s ex-integrants. Therefore, makes part of the left/extreme left block of Brazil’s political parties. They are very united, unlike the right political parties which makes out about 15% of the total sum. Especially because of the stained image on the right that the military regime contributed for. But that’s another story.
Anyway, there’s an orchestrated fabricated narrative that the left block is trying to push about everything that’s going on right now, so their political damage get’s lowered and also to try to not get many people arrested, since the investigations are still on going. The left block still has a lot of financial resources due to all corruption schemes they’ve been practicing. Some historians would say that it could add up to the biggest corruption scheme in western civilization and involves the press, institutions (deep state here too), financial system, private giants and state owned companies (in Brazil there’s about 418 state owned companies).
I know you’ll believe me because it’s clear that you’re very well informed and you will be able to make some parallels with other situations, and other moments in time. I’m glad that you took interest in the Brazilian political scene and I must say…It’s one of the most interesting historical moments we’re going through. If you knew 10% of it, you’d be hooked. As I am. I’m not into communication, journalism or history. I’d just got interested in it because things are really excited and unpredictable, for a while. For the good and for the bad.
With that said, let’s go down to some of the points you two talked about in the interview. I must say that, even though Gleen Greewald has a lot of information about Brazil, I can guarantee you that not only is he part of the establishment trying to push this narrative, but also that as a native Brazilian on my 40’s, I’ll give you some perspectives that he could never imagine. I would say that about 80% of what he said is part of this strategy from the left party to push this narrative. And I’m going to try to counter his versions with facts, that can be checked easily or even confirmed by Glenn Greenwald himself.
Bolsonaro - fascist:
I’m not sure if you’re going to be able to make a parallel with this. But the left block here in Brazil are very aggressive. And the word fascist, or even nazi, got wasted on everyone that doesn’t follow the left ideology. As I commented before, the staggering majority of the political parties here are left. Especially after the end of the military regime. The people that came to power were all of the communists/socialists that tried to implant a dictatorship before the military regime. By the way, that’s why the military took over – to stop a left wing dictatorship. And during the military regime, the left organized themselves into the press, schools, universities and so on. There were some censorship, that’s true. But I’ll get to that later. What’s important here is the after the military made the transition to the civilian regime in the middle of the 80´s, no political party would dare to position themselves as right wing. Would have no votes. And during the years in the military regime, the organized left did a good job on imposing the view that the military or right was the worst thing ever happened and all that.
Anyway, after the military regime, Bolsonaro was one of the vary few that had the courage to position himself as a right wing candidate. And got elected about 6 to 7 times in a row. And one way of promoting himself was to get into heated arguments with leftists congressmen. Basically, everyone against him. Of course, here and there he said some nasty things which he apologizes for many times. But his main idea on race/gender is that people should be treated equally and not have special rights like handicaps. We are a very mixed race population. And he’s totally against what the left tries to do here with minorities, which is to use them as political tools. So, he speaks his mind and get attacked by words like fascists and nazi. The is not the Trump of the tropics – in that, he is correct. But I see some vary close similarities on all this movement rejecting the establishment that’s happening here and over in the states. You guys are about 2 years ahead.
He has no similarities, what so ever, with the Egyptian current president, that’s for sure. And with the Philippines’s one, I don’t have much information to talk about it. Also, he is not an alt right or extreme right. He is a moderate right. The thing is that we’re almost 40 years without having someone declaring himself as right. And that shocks the left in the establishment. Only after all these corruption scandals came our light that people started reflecting about all this stuff and getting information on the alternative media. I’ll talk about that later.
Bolsonaro being part of the dictatorship – that’s simply not true. He was born in 1955. And the military regime began in 1964. He was 9 years of age – couldn’t possibly be part of, sorry. And he’s military carrier was very short. He graduated in 1977 to head to the military carrier and the regime ended in 1984.
As I stated before, there was censorship and deaths. About 400 deaths 20 years of military regime (in Chile’s dictatorship there was about 3000 deaths in roughly the same years - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_dictatorship_of_Chile_(1973%E2%80%9390)). What he didn’t say is that the left guerrilla also killed and kidnapped a lot. Some of these tortures and deaths were to elucidate crimes and stop further attempts. So, be careful – the story is fuzzy. Later on in the interview, he commented that there’s about 60.000 murders per year here in Brazil – that’s true and I’ll also get to that – and these figures are with no dictatorship and with a leftist government on power for more than 15 years.
He never said that he wants to bring all of that back. In fact, at all interviews, he states that he is going to follow the constitution severely. The press just ignores and keep on bringing up statements from 30 years ago, as the one Glenn pointed out to.
He does defend it, though. That’s true. Even because there’s a very interesting debate on whether it was, in fact, a dictatorship or a military regime. As you noticed, I’m calling it a military regime. An authoritative one. But not let authoritative then the left regime we just had. During the military regime, the presidents got elected – indirectly. And the mayors/city councils got elected directly. Two of the biggest press companies were founded during this period – Globo (one of the biggest news organizations in the world) and Veja (Magazine) – and they’re private. So there’s a lot of aspects that doesn’t really go with the narrative of the dictatorship version.
Brazilian Institutions:
Yes, Kyle, he said all that. He was just a big mouth who spoke his mind. And maybe he meant it. If you knew the amount of corruption that always happened here and all deaths and lack of everything to the part of society that need the most, you would too want to close congress. And the worst part is that we would never see anyone go to jail, until very recent years. I’ll talk a lot about that in a while.
In the campaign, he never (ever) said that – Glenn didn’t tell the truth again. What he did say is that the MARGINALS that didn’t comply with Brazil’s laws would go to jail or get banned from the country. Let me ask you – what do you thing about this statement? He said nothing about cleansing. He wants political decisions to be made without ideological basis. Repeated that throughout the campaign, but the media insists on nor reproducing. He also stated that the public funding for publicity will also end. That’s what’s worrying the press. They depend massively on public publicity.
Oh, by the way, he got stabbed, man. Almost died. And guess what?! The person that stabbed him was affiliated to the same political party and Glenn´s partner – ask him yourself. And this was in the middle of the campaign, in the first round. He stayed the rest of the first round in the hospital and couldn’t campaign anymore. Even though, in the firs round he got about 46% of the votes. Almost won in the first round. If it hadn’t been for the stabbing, he would have been elected. I’m not loyal supporter, but I voted for him. I’ll get to the reasons later on too. One thing impressed me though – his receptions. Wherever he would go, he would unite thousands of people. In a period when none politicians could even catch a commercial flight, or they would be protested against. Very impressive. The traditional media wouldn’t show the images. We watched everything through the social media. That’s when we started to suspect something was wrong.
Glenn stated that the judiciary declared actions unconstitutional. Man, I’m really worried by the power of information manipulation. I gotta say it’s true, but very intellectually dishonest, to say the least. There is one act of his that was declared unconstitutional by the supreme court. You’re not going to believe the story behind this one. You probably don’t know this, but our electing system is electronic. Do a little research on what countries adopted this electronic system and let me know. Besides that, the equipment and technology is provide by a Venezuelan company. That’s right – you didn’t read it wrong. Don’t you think this is crazy? So, the suspicions on vote manipulation rose a lot, specially after the second election on Dilma Rousseff, that won by less then 1%. His act was to print the vote after the electronic entering, so that the voting could by audited. Right now, there’s no way to audit. We got to believe in the result and that’s it. So the establishment opened a process in the supreme court and they didn’t allow it, saying it was unconstitutional, arguing that the vote is supposed to be secret. The printing system was created in such way that nobody would have access to the printed vote. Not even the voter. As a result, we had a law, approved by congress that the judiciary system suspended on weak allegations. Don’t you think that’s much more harmful to democracy and very strange?
The institutions are composed by thousands (literary) of political leftist indications, making our own deep state.
Brazilian Crisis:
This is gonna be a long one. So, it did originate in the 2008 collapse, but we recovered from that quickly. The year after the crises, Brazil grew 7% GDP. That was amazing. The reasons for our huge crises are very complex. It started with inflation, due to the full employment condition (about 5% of unemployment, at the time). Wages and service started to sky rocket, and productivity not, because we didn’t take care of the educational system. We peaked at 10% inflation a year. Other than that, all of our financial public balances were fabricated and false. Our external debt was growing rapidly. On top of all that, the most famous investigation Lava-Jato (Car Wash) started to put very important people in jail, along with some politicians.
CEO´s of the biggest construction companies were being put to jail (nobody would thought this could be possible here), so their companies got effected, together with the contractions and unemployment started to sky rocket – went to 12% (I think these numbers are also under estimated) in 2 years of Dilma´s second election, and then she got impeached – many reasons for that too, also – 10% of GDP in 3 years. I’m still not recovered from this crisis. 60% of the population has their credit blocked.
There was no epidemic of violent crime. The numbers were already high in these past 10 to 15 years. Varying from 50.000 to 60.000. Glenn has the impression of an epidemic because he lives in Rio. I’m originally from Rio and lived there for the most part of my life. Rio is another story all together. Not the main focus of this conversation. What Glenn also forgot to mention is that besides these 60.000 murder per year, we also have about 70.000 missing people per year. Oh, did I tell you about the cop killings? Last year, just in Rio, there was more the 100 cops killed. I can’t imagine this happening in the states. Rio, specifically, went though a bigger crisis. The corruption was bigger – there was a time when we had 3 ex-governors in jail – and the political scene is also mixed with the organized crime / drug smuggling favela lords. So, moving on.
The military:
Our army just started to support Bolsonaro, because it became evident that there was something very suspicious during the whole campaign on the information manipulation. Also, congress approved about 900 million dollars of public money for the parties do campaign with, since all the companies were being investigated for kickbacks in the Lava-Jato operation, so there wouldn’t be any private money around.
Almost all of this financing were directed to marketing against Bolsonaro. Inflating he’s old statements and even making up tons of stories. On the other hand, Bolsonaro won the elections with about 300 thousand dollars and the organic supporters in internet by side. The people saw in him the only option capable on dismantling the huge systematic endemic corruption scheme. All other candidates were from the establishment, so they would make some kind of deal a long the way. That’s not what the population wants. He was a real threat to the system and they almost got done with him – it was a very close call. A stabbing with a 6 inch kitchen knife and twisted. Cut through his stomach, intestine and his fizzes infected his internal organs.
Extremist Visions:
I’d like to know what they are. The only one you might consider extreme, would be the one that could enable the population to bear arms in their homes. Ask him to list some of these “extremist visions” for you to evaluate if they are really extremist. I´m sure that in many cases, you´ll be surprised to know that certain things happens here in Brazil, and nothing is done about it.
Amazon:
Bolsonaro has a military background. Glenn Greenwald knows that the mentality of Brazil’s military is national development and would never think about giving the Amazon or any time of productive land to foreigners or international companies. He even stated that business with China should be done carefully and slowly, as he knows that it´s kind of dangerous to let Chinese investment in without any rules. And he has been criticized about it – by the left and by the economic liberals. No one knows better the Amazon as the Brazilian military. They’re very proud of this great natural gift.
Paulo Guedes is truly a strong man in Bolsonaro´s administration. It’s also true that he markets love him and that he is a economic liberal. However, Bolsonaro made it clear to the population that he is not going to privatize everything and his word is final on this. He’s gonna choose the state companies that are not strategic and the ones that are not doing well because of corruption and political interference. He also forgot to mention that the state companies were the tools of the massive corruption scandals revealed by the investigations.
Consolidation of the ministries:
Not true at all what he said about the consolidation of the economic ministry with the agriculture and environmental. There was a time when he was evaluating putting together the agriculture and the environmental one. He went back on that idea, for now. By the way, do you know how many ministries we have here? 39! How many does the US has?
How about the 3 pillars that about fascism? Do you agree with them?
Lula / Workers Party - PT:
Prison: He stayed for 30 days. But he was condemned for 3 and a half years. The reason was for leading a very big strike.
Social programs: these programs were already in place when he took office, implemented by the center left, that at the time, he’s party convinced everyone that the previous government was from the right. This election made it clear that they where also from the left. He just expanded the programs because that was the natural course of the programs. Later on, the left managed to convince everyone that the programs where created by Lula, as Glen Greenwald tries to continue to do.
Prosperity of the country during his period: Lula came into office after the previous government had put all the internal and external financial state in order. At the same time, the world was doing great, specially with the natural commodities, which benefited Brazil. Anyone that would go into office during this period would do as good, or in many cases, much better that he did.
Corruption scandal: It’s very real. There was one single part of Glenn Greenwald´s statement that was true – when he began to say the there was a systemic corruption. The problem is that he forgot to mention that one of the big reason for success on the PT party was that they considered themselves incorruptible, because of the higher ethical standards. That was only until they got their first administration. That´s the whole point that Greenwald will never understand. One thing is for someone to take office that you know will do the same as any other political person. Another thing is for someone to take office, and won the elections because of the corruption proof administration he´d promise and at the end of the story, goes out being the mentor of the biggest corruption scandal in the western civilization! That´s what made the middle class turn their back on Lula. It was a huge let down. They invested their hopes on someone that could represent something completely opposite of what was going on at the time, specially because of his humble background and turned out to be the same, or even worst, than the system he was criticizing all hardly.
Some of the processes were tried already. In two instances. Problem is that here in brazil, we have 4 instances. But only the two bottom ones analyses the merit. The 3 and 4, could only analyze technicalities. So far, the Lula got 12 years sentence by the second instance (3 more judges). And he has about 6 other processes going on. The “tiny, picky” case that Glenn Greenwald was talking about, corresponds to about 3 million reais (about $ 900,000.00) on kickback. Yes…that´s the smallest one. But can you imagine what would happen to someone involved in a corruption scandal this big, in the states? Particularly considering an ex-president?
Polls: Not true at all. Lula would never win in the 1 round. By the way, these polls that Glenn talks about, are the same ones that pointed Bolsonaro with about 30% 1 day before the first round. Turned out he ended up with 46% of the votes in the first round. If he had gone to 50%, there woundn´t even be a second round. Bare in mind all the massive defamation marketing the establishment promoted against him with public money, kickback funds, media, universities, artists and what not, that I mentioned earlier.
Nobody chose to process. The big contractors busted on the investigations decided to collaborate with the justice system in order to have their jail time reduced. And if they couldn’t proof anything they collaborated with, the would get jail time increase.
They didn’t rush anything. Things take time here in Brazil. It took almost 3 years for the investigations reach Lula. You really think that’s quick? He´s process took the same average time to get over with, in this special investigation.
Deed in his name: Of course there’s no deed in his name. That´s the base of the investigation for money laundry and property cloaking. It there was a deed, maybe he wouldn’t even get prosecuted for it.
He never lived in the apartment because the investigations got to it. But all reforms were made by the big contractors tailored for he’s needs. His wife’s guidelines for the reforms were found on e-mail communications with the contractors, together with a bunch of other stuff. Tons of evidences and testimonials. What would be the purpose of so many people giving these kind of testimonials? The shitty triplex he talks about is in the front of a famous São Paulo beach and has elevator in it. Common, Kyle.
Speaking circuit: That’s also under investigation. All points out that these circuits or speeches he did (for these same big contractors) were only a scheme to receive the kickbacks. Maybe similar to what goes on with Hillary and so on. I know you’re not naïve about this stuff. Curious enough, after the investigations started, nobody contracted him for no speeches anymore. And the ones he did before, nobody filmed it!
Pardon: that’s true – all the candidates from the left promised him a pardon if they won, in exchange for political support. Another truth telling by Glenn Geenwald.
Maybe corruption hasn’t the same image in developed countries as they do here in Brazil. Before, we also didn’t. Until PT took to the extreme and we could perceive on how dangerous and cruel that can be. Always with the poorest part of society. And also manipulating democracy in a way never dreamed of. Our public hospitals and educational system are in the worst state in a while. Security? Forget about it. Try to take a stroll at any part of Rio with a simple wrist watch, talking in your iPhone. I’ll give you about 3 hours to have it taken away from you.
Lula presidency miracle: As I mentioned earlier, he got the state in order and surfed on the worldwide commodities boom. Yes, millions of people got out of poverty, by the new measuring standards his administration implemented. Sounds familiar? As I stated before, he didn’t create the bolsa família. The administration before him created. But hadn’t this name and there was about 3 or 4 separate programs. So he unified and gave this name. From there on, the left imposed the narrative that it was theirs and that the right would abolish as soon as it took office. This terrorism probably guaranteed 1 or 2 more elections.
The scholarships were low, but the financing were high, which they stopped after the economy crash and lot’s of students stopped in the middle.
World cup and Olympics: Almost all politicians involved on getting these events here are in jail or indicted. Without mentioning the justice collaborations saying that the lot’s of FIFA´s members got bribed in order to decide to bring the world cup.
86% - yes…that’s true. But nobody new about the corruption scandal yet. Recent poll showed that 59% of the population wants him to stay in jail.
Magic? Figured all out? No secret on that – you just bribe everyone with lot´s of money and you’ll get everything you want. Simple.
Impeachment: No dubious circumstances. Dilma Rousseff´s administration made up some numbers about the economic situation to postpone the crises and she got caught. That was it. No mystery about it.
Yes, there was an effort to destroy PT. But not by the elite of the country. By the independent part of the institutions, which were still working and realized the great dangerous that was in course. It’s mafia, man. Not only PT, but a bunch other “traditional” parties, that turned into to part of the mafia. Mafia must be destroyed.
54% to 36%: again, suspicious polls. Not only they missed on the main presidential election, but guess what? They also missed on most of the governors and senator’s elections. Curiously, every time putting someone from the left as the leader. For instance – Dilma Rousseff ran for the senate in another big state here. On the polls, she was leading with a huge advantage. Came out in forth. I can give many other examples of similar situations that went on here. But wouldn’t make any sense, because you wouldn’t know the politicians.
Lula/Bernie Sanders: You’re absolutely right. Lula was the establishment. And that´s what drives me nuts about this “new left”. They forgot what really is to be left. In essence, most of the time is to go against the establishment, as I once did and I belive I did it again voting for Bolsonaro, as schizophrenic as it may sound. I´m sure you´ll understand what I’m saying.
Haddad: Apparently, he forgot to mention that Haddad is indicted on three processes, which include money laundry, administrative fraud. I don´t think I have to spend more time on this issue.
He is also not being completely honest about how long Haddad was candidate. Before he was the official candidate, he was already candidate as vice president. And everyone new who he was. He had been mayor of the biggest and most important financial/industrial city in Brazil, which everyone is interested in. Also, he was the minister of education in Lula´s administration, which has a huge importance here. Everyone knew him and everyone knew he was going to be the official candidate. They only insisted on this theatrical candidacy, so people like Glenn Greenwald could tell this kind of story to the less informed ones about our complex and interesting situation.
Haddad is charismatic, but his party situation is in so much trouble, that there’s no way that sane people could consider voting for him. There’s even some investigations going on with murder cases. I’m sure Glenn can confirm that. But I guess he’s just gonna say that is fake news or gossip, and when the investigations concludes that PT was involved with murder, he’s gonna say that the elite are chasing after the guy who took the poor out of the misery, because the elite are that cruel and wants everyone to be miserable, so there’s more money for them (?!?).
PT running the country with the exception of last 2 years? What is he talking about? After impeachment, the vice president took over – elected with PT. And never, ever said a word on the scandals PT was messed up with.
Did he compare jail walking to corruption? Again, that makes my point that it’s probably not as serious for developed countries. We’re now sure that it’s more damaging than murder or rape, as it a mass killing, and for the less fortune. The ones that need the most assistance. It’s scary how he lives in Brazil and doesn’t see that. He puts his faith on the left above it. If he was an honest left wing thinker, he would try to bring down this current left completely, so a more honest/smart one can flourish. I know it’s beyond his strategic capacity, and prefers to relativize all arguments and motives to sustain a fantasy.
Dilma Rousseff: We were in the same situation as Greece. We needed to make the reforms. If you knew about the numbers here, you would go crazy. If you´re interested, I´ll give you some numbers later. Anyway, she was elected on the second term saying that nothing would be done because everything was fine. And after day one she got elected, she gave the real numbers of the economic system and said that the reforms had to be done. That made clear of the fiscal fraud she committed.
And yes, the one who substitute her was much more corrupt and everyone knew about it. But PT asked for him to be on the balled together with her, as a trade of. He is from the biggest party in Brazil and has thousands of mayors throughout Brazil, to help campaign for her. There was NEVER a coalition with the center right. Everything was left. And the elections this year made that very clear and I can debate on that.
Oh, did he mentioned that Dilma was also part of Petrobrás council at the time all the kickbacks were happening? And also the minister of the energy ministry (oil/Petrobrás again) by periods close to that same time?
We (the population) couldn’t choose the replacement. The population would never choose the vice president as a substitute. We needed to replace her with him because that was in our constitution. We needed to follow the rules and wait for the next step, which came with the tapes he mentioned. But congress was all in PT/PMDB´s pocket. So congress didn’t let process go on. Unbelievable! Man, we’re suffering a lot these past few years. You simply could not make this up. Oh, and the informant it one of the richest man here in Brazil. And the vice president articulated so smoothly, that he managed to put the billionaire in jail for a while. But nobody from the left complains about that. By the way, this election we had the highest renewal rate ever because of all that went on. So this is also a factor that’s we should observe. Even though, everything was done by the old politicians to harden the rules new comers to be elected.
On a last note about the reasons PT didn’t get elected, it wasn’t entirely due to the anti establishment sentiment the population had. Along with the corruption scandals, also came a very hard progressive agenda, which was taken a bit far, considering Brazil is a major religious Christian country. But up till then, the churches were supporting PT – go figure – that’s Brazil. At least, this election made it clear for the religious people that by supporting PT, they were also supporting abortion, gay marriage and drug legalization, which I’m all for, by the way.
People who had access to Bolsonaro´s statements without any editing and as a primary source, sympathize with him. Bring back torture? He gave a very polemic example on which cases he would support torture 30 years ago – if your daughter or family was kidnapped – there’s no way he would institutionalize torture. Completely dishonest. He also never said he despise gay people. Completely untrue. He just doesn’t want special rights for people based on gender, to promote the complete opposite – equality – and not let ideological manipulation take place.
The story Glenn Greenwald told about when he first wrote about Bolsonaro is completely untrue. This is the story: He was giving an interview in congress, about hardening the laws for rapist under 18 and this leftist congresswoman approached, interfering on his interview, because she was against hardening laws for people under 18, and called his a rapist (Oh, by the way, at that time we had a case of a rapist by the age of 16 that kidnapped and raped a girls for 5 days, with his buddies, that killed her – got out in 3 years after a special detention and is living happily ever after). Than, he got back to her, called her a slut and said that she didn’t need to worry because he would never rape her because she “didn’t deserve”. Kind of like a childish and insensible statement – true. But it’s completely a different story then the one that he told you.
Maybe he really was against gay adoption, I’m not sure. But you also got to understand that he comes from a religious background and that’s his base. I would even go as far to say that maybe, personally, he would think that a child is better of with gay parents than in an orphanage. I’m sure that the sex/pedophile argument is completely untrue, as I’m realizing with his stories throughout this interview.
As I’ve said, Bolsonaro is not in favor of dictatorship. But he defends the military regime that went on the time to avoid a dictatorship from the left, which was in course. But that’s a whole other story to talk about. That’s also why I’m not jumping to conclusions and talking sides on what’s happening in other places, like the examples you gave – Egypt, The Philippines, etc. I’m sure there’s other layers of the story we don’t know fully about.
30.000: He said that 30 years a go, and as a figure of speech, about the leftists that wanted to implement a left dictatorship in Brazil. He was very aggressive back then, I agree. But during these years he matured. Or you think that people don’t mature. Don’t worry, man…about 30% of our country is on the left. An ideological genocide would never happen. The rest of the people here are very optimistic.
Theocratic policies: No way. As I’ve said, their just gonna halt the progressive agenda, which went a bit fast for a highly religious conservative country.
Indiscriminately kill people: No! He just want the police man to be able to neutralize (shoot) drug dealers barring heavy guns (AR-15, bazookas, etc). Is that so shocking?
25% of the national budget: sounds like these numbers are also wrong. Maybe higher. I’m not sure. Anyway, wouldn’t trust fully on them. And the if there are going to be any pension cutting is only for people that didn’t get into the system yet. Not the ones that are already in the system. Or there could be a time that the retired won’t get their pensions at all. We’re coming close to that point. Completely dishonest again.
I really like your comments and I know that you didn’t by the full story. That’s why I found important to take the time to let you know about the other side of the story. With all modesty apart, I’m sure it’s closer to the truth that anyone from the left would have the courage to admitting. I’ve already seen you realize some hard facts about the left. And I’m sure you’re very skeptical about all the glorified image they try to build around themselves. Hope you have a chance on reading this and wish you all the best.

A parcela da sociedade, grande imprensa e políticos inconformados com a possibilidade de um candidato do perfil de Jair Bolsonaro ganhar as eleições de 2018, ainda não entenderam que seu crescimento não se deve exclusivamente ao seu carisma ou suas propostas, mas sim à falta de opções que preservem a democracia e que deixe continuar o tão sonhado combate à impunidade que vinha sendo feito nos últimos anos, especialmente decorrente da operação lava-jato.
Os sinais eram nítidos. Desde de 2013, os brasileiros vinham se manifestando intensamente contra a qualidade dos serviços prestados pelo governo. Inicialmente, as pautas eram confusas. Porém, um recado era claro - não era possível continuar com o descaso que vinha sendo feito e falta de critério nas decisões sobre as prioridades governamentais.
Ainda por cima, veio o petrolão, para escancarar de vez a situação tenebrosa de praticamente todos os partidos políticos relevantes, e alguns dos menos expressivos. Quando não pela sua ação direta, pela sua cumplicidade no apoio aos partidos envolvidos.
Os políticos, principais responsáveis por tentar buscar uma resposta às exigências da sociedade, ao invés de reforçarem leis e apoio para as melhorias continuarem a serem realizadas, decidiram fazer reformas para dificultar a renovação política e enfraquecer as operações de combate à corrupção, em conjunto com parte do judiciário.
Não era necessário ser um candidato anti-pt ou anti-esquerda para prosperar nas preferências do eleitorado. Muitos dizem que o Alckmim não tem "carisma" para angariar votos nacionalmente para ser eleito presidente. Eu discordo. Garanto que se ele, mesmo com seu partido também envolvido em denúncias graves tivesse adotado o tom anti-corrupção, especialmente expulsando o Aécio Neves no momento adequado para simbolizar esta postura, o resultado seria outro. O único motivo que imagino para ele não ter incorporado este papel seria dele estar muito comprometido com as falcatruas.
Por outro lado, até mesmo o Ciro Gomes poderia ter se proposto a representar essa mudança. Ele tem o perfil tempestivo que o Bolsonaro também tinha. Porém, duas coisas ficaram claras. Não só vimos que o Ciro Gomes não consegue se controlar com suas declarações polêmicas, mas vimos também que o Bolsonaro consegue. Se o Bolsonaro mudou de fato, não temos como saber. Mas que ele consegue se controlar nos momentos cruciais, não há dúvidas.
Alguns ainda diriam que o Ciro não tinha o apoio suficiente de partidos para se tornar verdadeiramente competitivo. Nestas eleições estamos vendo que isso não é necessário, contanto que o candidato se posicione de forma clara anti-corrupção. A popularidade do Bolsonaro comprova isso. Ciro Gomes resolveu tentar deixar portas abertas para os partidos alinhados ideologicamente com ele para possíveis alianças. Nesta altura dos acontecimentos, o apoio de alguns partidos mais atrapalha do que ajuda.
Além disso, os envolvidos no processo resolveram atacar os eleitores do Bolsonaro. Mais um equívoco. O Bolsonarismo deixou de ser o apoio incondicional a um candidato polêmico. Tornou-se um movimento anti-sistema, que tem o Bolsonaro como representante deste movimento por falta de escolha. Qualquer um que tivesse entendido este espírito desde o início, teria condições de assumir esse papel. Não fizeram e agora correm o risco de pagar um preço muito alto. Excesso de confiança e arrogância ajudaram a proporcionar esta situação. Aparentemente, a sociedade está disposta a correr o risco de "sacrificar" 4 anos de governança em prol da continuação das ações de combate à impunidade aos mais poderosos - um dos maiores problemas estruturais de nosso país.
Longe de mim, achar que Bolsonaro é o melhor candidato para as eleições do Brasil 2018. Mas será que não há um único aspecto deste candidato que o Marcelo Madureira, da Jovem Pan, não consiga elogiar?
Tenho o observado há algum tempo, só criticando o Bolsonaro, mas não era o suficiente para constatar a má vontade, que beira o preconceito. Ficou mais nítido depois da entrevista vergonhosa no programa do Roda Viva, na TV Cultura. Mesmo com aquela atuação militante esquerdista por parte dos jornalistas, que ele conhece bem, pois já participou deste movimento durante a maior parte da sua vida, não conseguiu enxergar um ponto positivo no candidato. Nem sequer, em sua mudança de temperamento com opiniões contrárias.
Na visão do Marcelo Madureira, esta postura menos agressiva e maneira de condução de certas respostas é Media Training. Eu tenho acompanhado bastante entrevistas e vídeos do candidato, nos últimos anos. Aparentemente, diferente do caso do Marcelo Madureira, que trabalha com isso. Posso perceber uma mudança gradativa na sua condução de debates, que me leva a acreditar numa possibilidade de evolução legítima. Possibilidade - não certeza. Claro que devemos sempre desconfiar dos políticos. Mas o Marcelo Madureira foi taxativo e pareceu ter certeza do treinamento que o candidato recebeu.
Aliás, qualquer sinalização de mudança de opinião ou postura pelo candidato é imediatamente interpretado como populismo, encenação ou algo do gênero. Não só pelo Marcelo Madureira, mas com toda a imprensa esquerdista e de "centro" que estão inconformados com a possibilidade do Bolsonaro ser eleito presidente.
Vamos analisar, por exemplo, a mudança de pensamento do Bolsonaro sobre as privatizações e liberalismo econômico. Na visão do Marcelo Madureira, é uma mudança populista para "surfar na onda" da indignação da sociedade com o estado inchado. Nunca aceitaria a mudança de pensamento do candidato por convicção, influenciado por tudo que tem acontecido nos últimos anos no Brasil, em relação a corrupção em estatais. Até onde eu sei, mudança de pensamento e conceitos é uma atitude louvável, não?
Na questão econômica, nem se fala. Segundo Marcelo Madureira, Bolsonaro criou um mecanismo de defesa ou um "truque" para se esquivar de qualquer pergunta sobre o assunto que ele menos domina. Nunca aceitaria a possibilidade de ser uma postura humilde do candidato e ainda ter a capacidade de delegar determinados assuntos a profissionais reconhecidamente capacitados.
Algumas vezes acho que é puro preconceito, com o assunto inspirador deste blog - religião. Sabemos que Marcelo Madureira é ateu e o candidato em questão, acredita em Deus. Gostaria que nenhum candidato usasse a crença para fins eleitorais? Sem dúvida. Mas o Brasil está numa situação tão complicada que deveríamos não levar a crença do próximo presidente em consideração. Já passei da fase de achar que ateus são mais inteligentes ou mais competentes que os crentes. Temos dois exemplos de ateus na presidência, que cada um pode tirar suas próprias conclusões - FHC e Dilma.
Por último, chamar um candidato que defende a paralisação do desarmamento da população, a diminuição da maioridade penal, a diminuição das cotas raciais, a valorização da meritocracia de populista, realmente não faz o menor sentido. Se o Bolsonaro realmente fosse populista, ao final da entrevista do Roda Viva, não teria citado o livro do Brilhante Ustra como livro de cabeceira, e sim a Bíblia!
Não se preocupe. Não se trata de uma vítima por reputação ou algo mais grave. Seria apenas o fim de um relacionamento, como tantos outros que terminam todos os dias.
O que faz este caso especial é o fato de pelo menos um dos envolvidos (eu) fazer todas as concessões possíveis e impossíveis para o relacionamento prosperar e mesmo assim sem alcançar o resultado positivo que tantos almejam. Não porque a parceira fosse uma daquelas que “pisa” quando sabe que seu parceiro está na mão dela. Não. Muito pelo contrário. Dei essa “moral” conscientemente, pois sabia que era digna de merecimento. Aliás, ainda sei que é.
Antes de prosseguir, um pouquinho do meu histórico de perfil. Desde que construí minha identidade, por volta dos 27 anos, me defini como solteiro convicto e militante! Cheguei até a tentar fazer vasectomia para diminuírem as chances do meu estilo de vida não mudar e meus objetivos pessoais/profissionais serem alcançados. Contudo, um detalhe me diferenciava. Eu era o solteiro convicto “honesto”, super sincero. Ou melhor, não enganava e nem dava falsas esperanças às minhas parceiras. Dizia o que eu queria com todas as letras para não ter dúvidas - sexo, amizade sincera e diversão.
Eis que, um belo dia, por uma série de circunstâncias, resolvi retribuir o carinho, amor, comprometimento e lealdade à mulher que estava comigo naquele momento. Não foi uma daquelas paixões forte que me fez rever todo o meu discurso e que mais tarde se tornou motivo de chacota entre meus amigos. Eu já havia me apaixonado diversas vezes. Não me afastava de paixões por medo, como alguns “falsos solteiros convictos” fazem. Mesmo porque eu acreditava muito nas minhas convicções e achava que nada poderia abalar - e nunca abalou. Novamente para lembrar: foi uma série de motivos que formavam uma situação perfeita!
Duas pessoas numa idade madura (38 anos), sem filhos, profissionalmente encaminhados, incrivelmente apaixonados e com o apoio das duas famílias! Uma verdadeira raridade. Além do comprometimento natural da fidelidade – a única imune a tentações do cotidiano. Como eu disse - perfeito.
Agora, você deve estar se perguntando: porque que um ateu está compartilhando um caso amoroso, íntimo e de forma melosa, num texto sobre mídias sociais? Foi necessário eu contextualizar a situação primeiramente, para minha hipótese ganhar força.
Até aqui, tudo lindo e maravilhoso. Casamos (não no papel - moramos juntos). Durou 7 meses. Mas garanto que o motivo da separação não é o que você está pensando. Não foi:
- Dificuldade de convivência;
- Saudade da vida de solteiro e suas aventuras;
- Liberdade;
- Pego com outra(o);
- Invasão de privacidade;
Nada disso. Acreditem.
O motivo principal foi dinheiro. Eu estava passando por uma grande dificuldade financeira nesta nossa crise político/econômica interminável que me obrigou a ter um expediente de trabalho fora do normal para ter uma chance de sobrevivência. Por conseqüência, eu tinha menos tempo dedicado a lazer, que fazia com que minha parceira ficasse com “saudade” de mim, mesmo morando junto e trabalhando em forma de home office. Comentava que se sentia morando com um “room mate”. Entendo. Não concordo, porque eu estava disposto a passar por qualquer situação com o objetivo de eternizar nosso relacionamento e criar uma verdadeira família. Mas entendo.
Separamos. Depois, fiquei conjecturando sobre os motivos que, mesmo eu dando tudo de mim e fazendo todas as concessões possíveis na mais intensa lealdade imaginável, não trouxeram a felicidade tão buscada pela pessoa que eu amava.
Ao invés de eu deduzir a explicação mais fácil e óbvia, especialmente por uma pessoa do meu perfil, como: “mulher é tudo igual” ou “mulher nunca está satisfeita com nada”, fui mais a fundo nas possibilidades e fiquei assustado. Não em relação a mim ou à pessoa que estava comigo. Mas com a sociedade, como um todo.
Mesmo que ela não saiba, a única possibilidade racional que consigo imaginar é que, por conta de nossa atual percepção do mundo, através das mídias sociais, em que só vemos pessoas felizes, bem resolvidas e empolgantes, acabamos subindo as expectativas sobre como deveria ser nosso dia-a-dia. A todo o momento, vemos nossos contatos fazendo programas bacanas. Porém, temos dificuldade de imaginar que são apenas recortes específicos de suas vidas e muitas vezes relacionados varias pessoas diferentes, em ocasiões espaçadas. Também não vemos o período que estão “offline”, fazendo programas caseiros para economizar para um grande evento ou até trabalhando nos finais de semana, como eu fazia. Acabava imaginando que tinha alguma coisa de errada com nossa vida por não conseguir aproveitar o tempo.
Outro fenômeno interessante que percebi é que, por conta do acesso aos melhores momentos da vida de todos, acredito que a percepção sobre as qualidades essenciais para você “fechar contrato” com uma pessoa tenha se tornado praticamente impossível. Constantemente, a pessoa vê o parceiro do casal amigo sendo companheiro, outro sendo atencioso, outro sendo um grande pai, outro sendo um grande ajudante nas tarefas de casa, outro sendo extremamente social, outro sendo valente, outro sendo sensível, outro tendo um ótimo relacionamento com a família da parceira, outro sendo fiel, outro sendo romântico, outro sendo trabalhador, fica difícil você argumentar que uma só pessoa não pode ter todas essas características. Nos tempos de hoje, somos obrigados a reunir todas!
Temos que elencar as principais características que queremos ver em nosso par e avaliar se as outras serão de menor importância para “topar” o pacto da vida. Involuntariamente, queremos todas essas características que encontramos em diversos casais conhecidos e desejamos que nosso cônjuge tenha todos. Todos. Todos numa só pessoa. Impossível. Ou melhor, me arrisco a dizer que será impossível sermos felizes com a pessoa que escolhemos passar o restante de nossa vida ao lado. A não ser...
A não ser que sejamos muito bem resolvidos. Digo, você, consigo mesmo. E que saibamos que este fenômeno existe. Uma armadilha. Perigosa. Se não ficar atento, pode deixar a pessoa da sua vida “escapar”. Sem possibilidade de remendar. Mesmo que acredite em todos os deuses, universo conspirador e destino que quiser. Cuidado!
Devemos ver situações semelhantes nesses novos tempos. O pior é que muita gente vai acabar tirando as conclusões mais fáceis. Uma pena.
